We are a design-oriented firm with the technical expertise to execute and bring them to life in the real world. Our design team is experienced in traditional, contemporary, transitional and utilitarian styles, depending on the requests and needs of the owner, building occupants, and/or site conditions. Our team works hard to understand each client’s unique project and company, spending great time gathering the necessary information to develop a program that is custom fit for each circumstance. On average, approximately 40% of our projects during any given year are performed utilizing an integrated project delivery method.

Her most notable projects are Sinema Restaurant, the Presidential Suites for the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as the backstage of the Grand Ole Opry House, which has been featured on the ABC series, “Nashville“. This classic 10"x13" wall calendar features 12 of Kai Carpenter's most beautiful National Park oil paintings, a particularly whimsical take on the National Parks. The former Village Voice and New York Observer photographer James Hamilton lives in a small Manhattan apartment on University Place that also doubles as his studio. There’s a dark room in the corner, where Hamilton develops his images, using chemical ingredients plucked from a wine cooler. His walls are lined with books and stacks of photos, a treasure trove of portraits and reportage he’s shot over the decades, among them BB King in concert, Liza Minelli at home and Muhammad Ali out in the streets.

Anderson Design Group, Inc. is an award-winning illustration & design studio based in Nashville, TN. Founder Joel Anderson and a group of talented artists have been creating hand-lettering, illustration and design since 1993. The ground floor of the studio is open to the public where a gallery and gift shop offers a wide selection of prints and gifts created by ADG & friends. Each approach involves a collaborative design and construction effort, and as a result we not only have very strong working relationships with multiple general contractors, but our firm is often recommended as the design leads on larger more complex projects. Part of the reason that collaboration with the Construction Team is so well integrated into the corporate culture of our firm, is because 80% of our employees have physically worked in the construction field in their past.

Since 1993, our family owned business has been producing high-quality illustrated prints, books, and wall decor. We love what we do as visual communicators—and it shows when we illustrate, hand-letter, or design in our favorite 20th-Century travel poster styles. We custom-print each of our posters in-house using the highest-quality inks and papers.
